Due to the 2019-2020 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions with the intake of each client, health history review, as well as sanitation and disinfecting practices.
I will now greet and say goodbye to clients with a wave or nod of the head. No hand shakes or hugs.
The clients will be screened for over all health and will be asked if they have the following symptoms: fever, cough, dry cough or difficulty breathing, headache. If symptoms are present, the appointment will need to be rescheduled for a later date.
The therapist will wear a clean mask face protection during the services. I will change my mask in between clients, placing the washable ones in a seal able bag and it will be stored in the break room.
The therapist will not touch their face before, during or after the massage session without washing their hands thoroughly with soap.
The therapist will wash their hands, arms, elbows for 20 seconds with soap and hot water before and after each massage sessions.
There will be hand sanitizer in the treatment room for clients to use before the start of the session.
Anti-microbial cleansers will be used to clean all surfaces this includes, massage cream containers, cups, stools, massage table and any other equipment.
Linens are washed in hot water with laundry soap to kill the Covid-19 and other germs. Clean linens will be stored in a closed cabinet.
Dirty Linens will continue to be stored in a separate room in a plastic seal able bag and removed from the room after each client’s session has ended.
